We have installed a 1500 watt grid-tied solar power system. The 48 volt system includes a battery backup incase of a power outage. We purchased the hardware from Wholesale Solar located in Mount Shasta, California. They were extremely helpful, friendly and easy to work with in designing the correct system for our home. We had it installed by Gene's Electric, a local electrical contractor, who did an excellent job. Below are pictures of the various components of the system. Click here for the current power status. The information on the power status page is updated approximately every minute and resets at midnight. It does not include all or our power consumption in the daily kWhr bought since our electric stove is not connected to the solar power circuit. |
